Rabobank confirm deal with Ardila

AMSTERDAM, Dec 13 (CP) - Dutch ProTour team Rabobank have finally confirmed the transfer of Colombian Davitamon-Lotto rider Mauricio Ardila.
Ardila's move to Rabobank already seemed to be certain but the team could not actually announce the agreement until the rider's contract with Davitamon-Lotto expired.
The rider particularly impressed in the 2005 edition of the Giro d'Italia, and was close to a stage win in the Vuelta a Espaņa. However, he misjudged the finish line and celebrated 150 meters too early, allowing a competitor to take the victory.
