GLASGOW, Sep 15 (CP) - The final stage in the Tour of Britain has been won by home rider Paul Manning, while young Frenchman Romain Veillu clinches the overall victory.
On the final day of the British race, the course led from Dumfries to the well known Scottish town of Glasgow, and was 156 kilometers long.
At the finish, Great Britain rider Paul Manning had a seven-seconds advantage over Tinkoff's Salvarote Commesso, former champion of Italy.
Commesso took the second place ahead of Kurt Hovelijnck, Lars Bak and Martijn Maaskant.
The overall victory goes to Agritubel rider Romain Feillu, albeit only just. The Frenchman's lead over Adrian Palomares stood at less than one seconds.
The third place goes to Luke Roberts, at only six seconds from the winner.
