ST. LOUIS, Sep 17 (CP) - Cuban Iván Dominguez has sprinted to his second win on the last stage of the Tour of Missouri. George Hincapie took top honours overall.

The sixth and last stage of the Tour of Missouri was a 119 kilometres long circuit race in the centre of St. Louis. The circuit was mainly flat, so a sprint-finish looked likely all along.

A break containing four riders broke clear of the Kodak Gallery-led pack. Bernard Van Ulden from Navigators Insurance, Jeremy Venell of DFL-Cyclingnews-Litespeed, Fausto Marcelino of Tecos and Colavita-Sutter Home rider Tyler Wren made up the leading quartet.

Though, Discovery Channel and Kodak Gallery were not keen to let the break get too big a gap and, after holding a three-minute advantage halfway through, they were reeled back in on the last lap. Van Ulden of the Navigators outfit tried to go solo, but didn't get anywhere.

A sprint on the slightly downhill course was as expected the outcome, with Dominguez winning easily. He won his second stage in this race ahead of Andrew Pinfold of Symmetrics and Canadian Dominique Rollin of Kodak Gallery.

Due to the time bonuses accumulated on an intermediate sprint and in the final sprint, Rolling leapfrogged Saunier Duval's David Cañada Gracia to claim third place overall. Discovery's Hincapie had no troubles whatsoever holding on to his lead, and won his first stage-race since 2004. American Slipstream rider William Frishkorn took second place on general classification.
