ST. CHARLES, Sep 15 (CP) - The fifth stage in the Tour of Missouri has been won by Danny Pate. The American was first to arrive at the finish in St. Charles.
Pate formed part of an early breakaway, which managed to stay ahead of the peloton until the finish.
The home rider beat Colombian John Fredy Parra Celeda to win this stage, and Jeffry Louder took the third place at eight seconds.
Another American, George Hincapie of Discovery Channel, maintains his overall lead.
