MILANO, Mar 13 (CP) - Although the Belgian-Swedish ProTour team Unibet.com was not given a wild card for Milano-San Remo, the race organisers now eventually decided to distribute one.
The first of ten original classics will be ridden by all twenty ProTour teams and five ProContinental teams. Milano-San Remo will be the first ProTour race of the season for Unibet.com, after being excluded from Paris-Nice and the Tirreno-Adriatico.
The invited ProContinental teams are Acqua & Sapone, Barloword, Ceramiche Panaria, Team LPR and Tinkoff Credit Systems.
