I'm only 14 but I've got into cycling (Not just watching the cycling on T.V Smiley) about a year ago and I do 25-50K a day. Unfortunately when school comes back I won't have much time. In a few weeks I'm doing a organised 100K race/fun ride which is local with my dad.

We need to get more young people interested in cycling! Grin

I have just joined a club, Sotonia and have competed in my first real event. (I came fith from last Smiley) The event was a hillclimb organsied like a timetrial. Gradient 12% and was only about 1K. Most of thier other events are 10miles or 25miles, but I'll have to wait till feburary for that.

There was about a 20K ride to the start and it's really fun to ride along in a large group (About 50) at a reasonable speed.

How is everyone else enjoying thier cycling? Wink

i'd love to join an amateur cycling team but i just don't know where in my neighbourhood i can found one ... and if i find one i don't think i have enough time to ride...  Sad

in the summer of 2005 i rode with Jeroen (aka Pirata on the forum) the Mont Ventoux and i enjoined it very much ! i never climbed such a mountain and i did it very well i think... Jeroen already rode different known climbs and with about 5 kilometres to go he dropped me and i came in 20 minutes after him so...  Cheesy

i'd love to do it again !

I'm just riding for fun, I don't wanna join a team or ride races because I'm afraid to crash and break my collarbone again...
Good luck TMO Wink

I`m riding a lot too, and will start to compete in February. Though, I have no team, as cycling isn`t that big in Norway.
